Shipping & Returns


We use recycled paper for shipping to the highest extent possible.

Free shipping offer is valid only for standard ground delivery service in the contiguous 48 United States. Free shipping does not apply to orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

Most orders ship within 24 hours except cages which ship directly from the manufacturers.


Return Policy

Avian Addiction offers a return policy on defective items based on manufacturer return policies. Within 48 hours of receipt, report defective items to a customer service representative at 352-204-2400. Once approved, defective items must be received within 30 days. After 30 days, manufacturer warranty applies. All other non-defective items cannot be returned due to restrictions of bio-safety.

Customer is responsible for all shipping charges, shipping insurance, and lost items for returned items.

All returns must contain all original packaging, UPC, manuals, accessories, etc.

If an item is accepted for return and the return reduces the overall cost of the original invoice to fall below the threshold for free shipping, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs that would have been incurred otherwise.

If a package arrives damaged, attempt to refuse acceptance of delivery; otherwise, please contact us immediately at 352-204-2400 so a claim can be filed with the carrier.

Do not discard shipping and packing material for damaged shipments. In most cases, the shipping company will want to inspect the damaged items.
